- AROUND TOWN -
From the Waterville Volunteer Fire Department:
WFD is proud to announce Brooke Wilson as our newest NYS EMT. Brooke joined WFD two years ago as a Junior Firefighter and will soon graduate from Waterville Central School. Congratulations Brooke, welcome to our EMS team at WFD!!
At the Waterville Residential Care Center, a new facility bus is ready for adventure thanks to an anonymous donor!
"With the recent purchase of a new facility bus, the planning stages for future outings and trips can now begin! Despite the current state of affairs in the world, and the restrictions in place, we at WRCC are optimistic about the future and know that this too shall pass.
And when it does… OH! The Places We’ll Go!"
While at the facility, residents have also recently enjoyed gardening and kites among their many other activities.
Flowers have also returned to the Peck Road Flower stand. Purchase by the stem, vase, or bunch. There were some chives as well!
With a great deal of growing interest, yes there are signs for Blunt's Berries. Turn by the Deansboro Train Station. Then keep to the left. The Towpath Trail begins along the right. For the new Kirkland Trail leading to Dugway Rd, cross Route 315 and begin by the Town of Marshall Barn.
