Despite a bit of a reprieve, winter returned! But at least not as badly as originally predicted.  Thursday, rain switched to snow.  While it's barely enough to shovel, the temperature dropped, and the gusting wind is still covering roads and biting at the nose.

- IN THE NEWS - Photo: Waterville Times Fire and sorrowful news struck the Buschor family and Deansboro Sunday morning. Fire Departments from Deansboro, Waterville, Oriskany Falls, Clinton, and Vernon Center responded to the call around 7 am. The fire deemed fatal for Mary Lou Buschor, despite efforts by her husband, Robert, and son, Bobby, to rescue her.
