Congratulations to Paeton Barnes, the Brothertown Optimist Club's Youth of the Month for November!

Also in November, the WCS Jr/Sr High Library held their first Open Mic of the year.

On Thanksgiving, the temperature had dropped down into the 20s, but the rain had also stopped and the snow had yet to really start.  The Annual Turkey Trot walkers and runners gathered with donations for the Waterville Area Food Pantry and a friendly trot around town.

Friday night, the Annual Parade of Lights met cold, but manageable weather, as local businesses offered pop up shops, cocoa, cookies, cider, and an abundance of great local finds during the Holiday Hop. In good news, stores were filled to the brim- it just didn't make for great photo opportunity.

Kelly Nichols was the lucky winner of the Grand Prize Raffle Basket.

The Food Pantry Car Raffle, made possible by New York Central Mutual, was finally drawn.

With Santa and Mrs. Clause in attendance, David Newsom became the owner of the Dodge Challenger. (Doug Plourde announced the winner).

The Parade, per usual, was a hit! Starting from the Bandstand and marching down Main Street to the Firehouse, it was well attended by participants and spectators alike with many a light to brighten the night.

***
Sunday, the snow came to start December off in winter white!  Winter driving is also in full effect, with more caution, time, and patience required.

Carolers from St. Bernard's and the Waterville Methodist Church used the snow to their advantage, adding a touch of Christmas charm as they caroled door to door.

One thing is for certain, photos do not do the Village justice. So take a stroll or a ride and enjoy it! P.S. the Annual Garden Club Decorating Contest will be judged next Tuesday evening.

Then, more to come throughout the week. *** In honor of the first day of Fall, we stopped by the Pryputniewicz Farm which is always a beautiful sight of bounty this time of year. Not only did we get a glimpse of their variety of vegetables and pumpkins, but the kids offered to take charge of the camera to give the best views of their favorites. Enjoy! ...
