Friday night Football hit Brothertown Stadium with some appropriately chilly and wet weather.  Seniors also had a chance to be honored.

Sunday, the Barton Hose Company hosted their Annual Palm Sunday Ham Dinner Take Out style! The general consensus was that the meals were plentiful and delicious- almost as delicious as the pie!
Photos and following from the Barton Hose Company
Thank you so much to those who supported our 65th Palm Sunday Ham Dinner! We served 650+ dinners! See you all next year

Afternoon photos of today look quite different than anything might have from earlier in the morning. The wind continued to gust, and snow accumulated overnight to a give the landscape a crusty white covering that most certainly reminded all that it's still March in CNY. Better keep that car scraper handy a little while longer.
By afternoon we were all happy to see the sun and flowers again.

With the summer banners and blue sky, you could almost forget it even happened. May any additional snowfall this spring be just the same!

- WEATHER - The June Summe Solstice takes place tomorrow, June 20th. At the June solstice, Earth is positioned in its orbit so that our world’s North Pole is leaning most toward the sun. As seen from Earth, the sun is directly overhead at noon 23 1/2 degrees north of the equator, at an imaginary line encircling the globe known as the  Tropic of Cancer  – named after the  constellation Cancer the Crab . This is as far north as the sun ever gets.  All locations north of the equator have days longer than 12 hours at the June solstice. Meanwhile, all locations south of the equator have days shorter than 12 hours. Click Here for more from EartySky Image via Marcella Giulia Pace.
