Applause to the Oriskany Falls Fire Department, several of whom participated in the CNY Stair Climb early this morning:
"This morning a good group of local individuals participated in the CNY Stair Climb in Utica, NY. They climbed 110 flights of stairs to honor those from 911."

Keep up with WCS with Superintendent, Chuck Chafee's Twitter.  A tiny glimpse of training before the students started this week:
"WCS teachers embracing Mindfulness training. Thanks to Liane Benedict from CitiBOCES!"

A much more unexpected Back to School moment happened near dismissal time when a porcupine tried to join in right near the pick up location, causing a few changes and delays.  Kudos to the WCS staff for taking care of anything that comes their way!
