July 6, 1921 - March 6, 2016
Wife of the 40th President of the USA, Ronald Reagan, 1981-1989
Born Anne Frances Robbins on July 6, 1921, in New York City, Nancy Davis was the daughter of Edith Luckett, an actress, and Kenneth Robbins, a car dealer who abandoned the family soon after her birth. 
Miss Luckett resumed her stage career when her daughter was 2 and sent 
the child to live with relatives in Bethesda, Md. In 1929, 
Mrs. Luckett married a Chicago neurosurgeon, 
Loyal Davis, who adopted Nancy and gave her the family name...

March Madness Chess Bracket Battle 
Throughout the month of March, members of the Waterville school community are competing to determine the best chess player at the Waterville Junior/Senior High School Library via a March Madness Bracket-Style Chess Competition.

Data has again been retrieved from the Village's radar speed signs. The portable sign has been placed on NYS315 for the past 3 weeks. I have noticed first-hand that this sign's presence has made a huge difference in slowing vehicles down coming into the village. Reminder that the sign records data at the time the vehicle passes the sign, not when the vehicle first registers on the sign. Buell Ave (Route 315), from March 11 - April 1. Traveling into the village: Total vehicles: 22,424 0 - 30 MPH: 11,715 (52.24%) 31 - 35 MPH: 4,431 (19.76%) 36 - 40 MPH: 3,022 (13.48%) 41 - 45 MPH: 1,891 (8.43%) 46 - 65 MPH: 1,365 (6.09%) - Some of these vehicles were moving over 75 MPH. Traveling out of the village: Total vehicles: 23,834 0 - 30 MPH: 2,415 (10.13%) 31 - 35 MPH: 6,041 (25.35%) 36 - 40 MPH: 6,88

A day filled with Brews, Carnival Games, and Music to benefit Spring Farm Cares!  The banquet hall will be setup with carnival games and music! We will have a special brew for the day and have some sampling from Tri-Valley Beverages with a few other suprises! Our Weenie Mascot, Bunz, will also be in attendance for Pictures and Dancing. The Melt Gourmet Grilled Cheese LLC will be here serving up some cheesey goodness! More to come!
