Join us for a special socially distant story hour outside! We'll enjoy a story and rhymes and get creative outside.

The Learning Club sponsored by Learning at its Best is hosting a drive thru/walk thru Lemonade Sale to help raise funds for Cole Campbell during his fight against Leukemia.

On September 25 from 11-2 students and staff of the Learning Club will be set up outside at 110 E Main St to accept drive thru or walk by orders for lemonade. With staff assistance, students will be managing the event, serving as cashiers, bringing orders to vehicles and delivery orders to locals.

We will have two options available for sale:

-Prepared cups (with lids and straws)of pink or regular lemonade

-To Go Option which includes a bottle of water with a lemonade to go pack.

Recommended donation is $2. Feel free to donate more!

- AROUND TOWN -

Cruisin' morning certainly looked like no other! Not only were things quieter (you'll usually find crews setting up and smell the start of the pancake breakfast well before dawn), there was a hard frost too. It would have made for one of the coldest Cruisin' starts to date.

The Historical Society was open right next door to the Fire House, for an easy shop hop down the street.

Promptly at Noon, there was already a line for the Chicken BBQ that was hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary. With tickets pre-sale or at the door, they were down to business fast!

Meanwhile at the park, Matt Chase and Thunder Canyon performed for a seated apart, but happy to be there crowd.

A first for Cruisin' and Waterville, The Waterville Methodist Church hosted a "Diaper Dump" to give their new Diaper Bank a start. Diapers can still be donated at the their Little Pantry, the Waterville Public Library, and more locations to come, or donate online.

Continuing all weekend, and it looks like through tomorrow, more overnight frost that melts into beautiful autumn days. If you're looking for a reason to celebrate Tuesday, look no further. It will be the First Official Day of Autumn, and every time we go out we see more trees changing, decorated doorways, and farm stands overflowing with pumpkins and gourds.
