Monday, August 21st was Eclipse Day!
Watervillian Jody Hildreth traveled down to Clarksville Airport in Tennessee to view the eclipse. He captured these amazing images.

Back in Waterville, community members stopped by the Barton-Brown Observatory for some informal Eclipse fun. The Waterville Public Library solar panels observed the dip in sunlight due to the eclipse as well:

Tuesday's weather was hot and humid until a strong storm with a tornado warning rolled through in the early evening. The following emergency notice popped up for most:
"The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...

southeastern Oneida County in central New York...

northwestern Otsego County in central New York...

southeastern Madison County in central New York...

* until 600 PM EDT

* at 512 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

was located over Pecksport, or over Hamilton, moving east at 40

mph."

While it just looked in like a strong storm in some places.
