- NEWSWORTHY -

While it's no longer New News to most, Saturday's heavy rain and storms which caused a great deal of flooding and damage are certainly the main topic in the area.

While most of the Waterville area seems to have fared well in comparison, waterways were certainly raging and there was plenty of areas of washout.
Route 315 was closed for some time where Bogan & Sally Intersect.

- AROUND TOWN -

Last Friday afternoon Patty Louise of the Waterville Times joined The Old Timers' Story Swap as a special guest.  This group gets together twice a month throughout the summer to share stories, learn a little local history, have a few good laughs, see friends, and, of course, enjoy some refreshments.  Special thanks to Patty for bringing some old Waterville Times articles and joining right in!
